Easter at the Dunes With a Bunch of Gynas and Munchers!!!

I've been up to a lot lately, just too busy I guess to write about it. The weekend before we went out to the Dunes I spent pretty much my whole weekend with Quin out in Provo. Friday night I just hung out with him and a couple of his friends, and then Saturday my supervisor (that is his friend) threw a birthday party for one of the guys in my department out in Provo. So it was a good weekend!

Every year our group of friends go out to the sand dunes for Easter. It's something that all their families have done forever! It use to be a lot more family I guess then it is now. Pretty much most of the guys grew riding dirt bikes together and love riding! Last year some of the couples had brought their kids, so it's kind of like their family traditions now. I had gone with Dave, Tiff, and Jeremy Tiff's little brother. We got there pretty early on Friday at like 2 pm or so and picked a camp ground big enough for everyone.

Me and Dan. He lived with Chris and Jenny in CA for awhile. I've know him since before I even moved here! I think the only time I see him really anymore is when we're camping.

Erin, Adam, and Me. Adam is Chris' brother and I've known him forever and I feel like he's become a brother to me just like Chris. I always have so much fun with him! And then Erin is Adam's girlfriend. And I met her before they were together from work. She's a lot of fun too and Saturday night I sat and talked to her forever about problems I was having there...

A couple years back one of our friends Candice came up with calling whores at the dunes Sandgynas. Last year it caught on with all of us there and we had came up with calling guys sandmunchers. Well it's turned into something more of a joke then us being mean. This is Adam and Dustin who is one of Adams close friends. Dustin does this Sandmuncher pride yell and dance and it's soooo funny! This was in the middle of the dance!

Jenny and Erin hanging out in Dave and Tiff's trailer. We were probably getting ready or something. I think Erin's holding toilet paper HAHA! Dave and Tiff's trailer is awesome. There's another bench across from where they're sitting and both benches fold up and the back wall comes down so you can fit your bikes and 4 wheelers in it. It's a toy hauler. It's pretty big too. Then there's a queen size bed that comes down from the ceiling, a kitchen and a bathroom. This is the trailer I stayed in and we froze because the battery wasn't staying charged and so the only time the heater would work was when the generator was going.





This is Nick he's Adam and Chris' cousin. He's married to one of our good friends Tracy and they have Brooklyn. I love them both! Nick has always been really protective about who I date. He's gotten mad before about guys I've brought around. Him and Nate his brother showed up Saturday afternoon. This was after I thought they weren't coming so it was a pretty good surprise to see them! Although Tracy didn't come it was still fun to be with them.

And then there's Nate... I met him last out of all of my good friends. He wasn't really around much when I use to visit and then when I moved here. I would say maybe at the beginning of the summer last year we started hanging out a lot and got really close. He would come camping with us every weekend and I'd hang out with him and his mom during the week watching movies. I use to not be able to do anything without at least inviting him. I'd say I became the closest to him for awhile. He is very protective also of me and who I date. It's like having three older brothers with Nick, Chris, and Nate. I love it! There's so much I can say about Nate but I'll go on forever. This picture is pretty horrible of both of us but I at least had to put him up!



This picture is just funny. Nate, me, and Chris. It's not the best but this is what it's like camping with us. It's so much fun and I have a blast every time. I couldn't ask for a better group of friends!




And this one is the VERY best!! I had to put it up!! For some reason Adam looks like he's about to cry or fall asleep in every picture that he's in. Tiff and I had gotten 3 cameras for the trip and filled them all! So this does not even dent the pictures we have. But for some reason a huge thing with our friends is to take a picture of someone when they're not expecting it and flash it right in their eyes. We love it for some reason! I totally forgot to put the picture up of me after a ride we went on. I was following Tiff who had Jenny on the back and if you're following someone you're constantly eating their dust! And I was COVERED in sand! It happened a million times last year and Tiff insisted on getting a picture of it this year. It's embarrassing! HAHA! I'll put it up another time. I seriously have so many more pictures. I just didn't want it to get boring.

It was a good weekend all in all. There was more drama then there's ever been but it didn't stop us from having fun... well most of us at least! Sunday had come to fast and as soon as we woke up we packed up and left and only a few people were even awake. I can't wait for the summer, this is always the kick off to summer and it always gets me so excited! This year will be a blast on the boat and I can't wait!!

No luck with Quin coming though, he went camping with his friends. I missed him of course but I had so much fun without him and I was able to do whatever I wanted or talked to whoever I wanted without worrying about anyone else. I guess I've just been single for too long it's weird to think about doing this kind of stuff with a boyfriend.

I can't wait for the fun that is summer!!!!!

Ava Elizabeth Shean

Friday I went and finally bought Bailey's birthday presents, I went a little nuts! I've been doing that lately. I ended up buying the cutest water sprinkler thing. It has a slide, a ton of sprinklers shooting up and other things to play on. It says there's 6 things to play on. It's so cute and it's just for babies! I kept telling people she can have her best friends over and play in it. They pretty much all said the same thing? She's only one isn't she? HAHA I was joking but it's true all our friends will have their kids over to play with Bailey. Anyway Quin came and picked me up from work and we went to dinner. Jenny had called me earlier upset about her hair so when Quin asked me what I wanted to do after dinner I told him I had to go home to try and fix her hair. Anyway Jenny ended up on not coming to my house, I was too tired to go there. So I wrapped up Bay's presents and I wish I would have taken a picture because it was so cute all wrapped up! Me and Tiff got in the hot tub and had our usual vent session in there. Great therapy!

Saturday was the big day! Bay's birthday! I can't believe she is already one! Looking at her, I'm always saying she's too small to be that old! I miss her being a baby and her cuddling up when you would hold her. I'm so excited though to see her grow up, for some reason I can't wait to hear her talk and hear what her voice will be like. I also can't imagine having my own kids after seeing how I feel about my nephew and niece... kind of scary to think about! The birthday party was fun but I was starting to feel so sick I could tell a bad cold was on the way! I wish again I would have taken pictures but I felt so crappy! Valentine's day Quin had gotten me tickets to linkin park... I honestly never really liked them until their newest album came out and Adam had ended up burning it for me. I mentioned to Quin that they were coming and he suggested we go. This was awhile before valentine's day even. Anyway I had gotten a text from him in the afternoon asking what I thought about bringing a friend. He had said he was tired and wasn't sure he wanted to go. Well I got mad because we had been planning it for so long and at the last second he says he doesn't want to go. So we got in a huge fight and I decided I didn't even want to go anymore! At Bay's birthday party my friends were talking to me and telling me I should still go and one said he would be so mad if I wasted those tickets that I didn't even buy! People had kept telling me they would go with me. So I told Tiff to call her mom and see if she would watch Kalon, she did and she would. So we ran home changed and left. Tiff's boyfriend was there too but in better seats HAHA!

You'd think that with how much money my stupid phone was that it was would take better pictures then it does! My crappy phones had awesome cameras, my razor probably had the best camera.

Tiff's phone broke a couple weeks ago, and the phone she's been using doesn't have a camera so she told me to take some with mine... well we were pretty far back, and again my camera phone is horrible! But she was saying at least you can get somewhat of a picture.
These pictures make it seem like we were in a different building they look so far away!!! We weren't that far away!! HAHA! They crack me up how small they are... we could actually see the stage and everything. Well Tiff could better then me because I didn't have glasses on. Of course!
I don't know what the deal is, why we look GREEN? That's pretty weird! But here's another try at the perfect picture! HAHA!
It was sooooo much fun! I haven't had that much fun in a long time! I knew I would have fun with her, we always do! And the tickets were free, who could ask for a better deal! After that, the cold I felt coming on had hit hard! I lost my voice, I'm sure it has a lot to do with me screaming at the concert. But I could barely talk and my voice is finally starting to come back and I'm not sounding so much like a guy. Jenny called me monday, I had stayed home from work and she's like "I can not understand you, your phone keeps cutting out!" I was like "Jenny that is my voice not my phone!" HAHA! Me and Quin and still fighting over the whole situation, but we've made some progress too. So we'll see what comes from this all.

Works been crazy too much too even talk about... but at least I have a job still! I need to go buy a camera! I lost mine in Las Vegas this last summer and I hate not having one. Until there, not so many pictures!
