Another Great Weekend :)

Again I had an awesome weekend! I couldn't stop smiling Monday, ask anyone I saw! I saw my mom Monday night and she kept laughing at me because I had this smile on my face that wouldn't go away! HAHA

Friday I packed my stuff before work so I could head out to Provo right after work. Well a whole weekend requires a lot of crap for a girl like me. And actually forgot A LOT! But we went over Rob and Kelly's (Quin's friends house) and we had a bonfire. I love the summer for this! I love love LOVE sitting around a bonfire with a drink and good friends. I don't know if it's because it reminds me of growing up in CA, or just camping but it makes me happy! A few of his friends were there that I had already met. And I'm so glad one of his bf's loves me Lapreal. I think of them like brother and sister, so her liking me is SO important to me. Luckily she does! So we had fun all night hanging out laughing and planning our trip to Mesquite!!!! I can't wait! We had planned on Quin and his friend Chad going golfing while me and Kelly get massages and lay by the pool! What can be better then that! Well I guess me not having to pay for much this trip! That kind of tops EVERYTHING!

Saturday Quin left to go golfing at about 1. Well Utah sucks right now it's horrible weather! Quin came back more mad then I've ever seen him. He was freezing the entire time! And if you know him, he's not cold ever! Plus he paid for 18 holes and only played 9 or whatever. He was pissed. Well he took a nap while I watched tv. We watched tv together for awhile after he woke up then went up to where I live to go to this sandwich shop. It's called the Philadelphian, and if he hadn't been telling me how good it was I wouldn't have stayed. It is so dirty and nasty inside. It is for sure a hole in the way restaurant. But Sooooo good and sooooo worth it! Well we were in bed by 1030, we're pretty pathetic!

Sunday we had made plans for me to meet his parents! EEEEEEK! Okay, for real I am so bad at meeting parents. I'm quiet when I meet people but when I meet parents I freak! I think it's a mixture of being shy and having kind of bad experiences with parents. Doug's parents HATED me from the start and never liked that he was with me. Ian's dad loved me, but his mom and step dad I don't think liked me either. And plus all those parents have been weird. Again Ian's dad was not, he was awesome! But the others were weird! The only parent I've liked was Zach's mom, she was AMAZING! I loved her the second I met her, and she loved me too!!! I saw her a couple months ago actually and she was so sad to hear we weren't together. I would date him just to have a relationship with her... IF he wasn't the craziest person ever! So back to the current parents. We walked in and I met the dad first, I put my hand out to shake his hand and he grabbed me and hugged me! Then his mom comes walking up and she's like I need a hug! They are sooooo cute! They are amazing in fact. He is so lucky to have parents like he does. I don't think it ever helps when you meet people when they are constantly complimenting you. His mom was like "you are so beautiful! Quin has said how beautiful you are and he was right!!" How nice right?? So we sat and talked while we waited for dinner to be ready. Then had the yummiest dinner ever!! I miss family dinners and stuffing myself HAHA! It was so good! We talked some more and I found out Quin spends HOURS at this buffet we're going to in Mesquite and that scares me! What I loved was whenever I've met a boyfriends parents the mom is always interested in meeting the girl, asking her questions, getting to know her. The dad will listen maybe ask a question, but mostly talk to the son or whatever. But his dad was right there asking questions too and I don't know it was just different and I really liked it! My favorite part was his mom asked why I moved here after I told her I hate the cold and Quin pipes in "to meet me duh!" I was like "oh right!" and his mom was like "I'm glad then that you moved here" and quin was like "me too!" So cute!! We watched a movie and then we were on our way. We watched stuff on Egyptians and I was on my way home. It was honestly the best weekend I've had in a long time!

Before I left I told Quin I wanted to take him to this pizza place I love. Well I got the great idea to invite Chris and Jenny. After stressing about what time and if we should meet them at their house or at the restaurant we were waiting in the parking lot to meet them. It's so awkward for me at first, I kept like giggling. Anyway Quin talks so much it's never awkward meeting him. He got up to buy us all another round of beer and I asked Chris and Jenny what they thought. "SOOO much better!" I was like really? They were like "yes sooo much better then anyone you've ever brought around!!!" I was shocked! Chris was like "Ian was a douche bag and everyone else was crazy!!" So they liked him... A LOT! I'm just glad they finally met him! I knew they would like him, it was just a matter of getting them together! We were there forever talking. Quin is so funny and had them laughing so hard! Jenny called me today and said Chris is still laughing about a story Quin told about him falling off a chair lift snowboarding! Yeah he fell! And Quin loved them as well. He thinks Jenny is beautiful and so sweet and Chris is awesome he says. HAHA! He said he can tell we're sisters, which not a lot of people say. When he was driving me home he was like you and your sister are so beautiful. Is your mom really pretty too? HAHA it just sounded funny. I can't wait for him to meet the rest of the bunch of friends!

But only 2 and a half more days we'll be in Mesquite and that's all I'm looking forward to right now!!!!!
