It Doesn't Get Better Then This...

Thursday we went to Kenny Chesney. Our friend Rob always calls the same guy for a taxi on the weekends, so he called that guy and set up a limo since everyone we were going with lives in utah county for one, and the parking at the rio tinto stadium is ridiculous for two, nobody wanted to drive. Everyone has been telling everyone about the limo we're getting... well come Thursday, the guy calls Rob and says that the limo is double booked and the other people are offering more money so he can send two lincoln cars. But we all wanted to go together and the limo driver found a big van for us to take, and he paid for it because of the mix up. So we all met over at Rob and Kelly's and our ride was there... Rob came and told us it was a bus, like to ones we take at the airport... Rob came back to tell us it was a senior citizen bus!! It was free for us, yes. We got to drive together, yes. Did we have a blast in that senior citizen bus? YES!!!!!

Here we are driving to pick Amanda and Jason up! The funny thing is, we never told Amanda the limo was cancelled. So up until we picked her up she thought it would be a limo. It was pretty funny when we picked them up!

In the lin to get in I saw Jenny and Tiff. I can't believe in the big crowd I found them! Quin saw them once when we weren't together too. I love these two.

I'm so glad someone got a picture so we had proof! Josh, the senior citizen!! HAHA

Friday we went to Chris and Jenny's for the 24th of July BBQ and fireworks. We had a lot of fun, but Quin got heat stroke out golfing that day. So poor him :( didn't feel good all night.

Bay took this picture of us.. perfect!

Sooooo while my parents were here my mom said I should try and curl my hair... since it's long the curl has come out but not much. Well Quin's friend's girlfriend has gorgeous curly hair and she told me to try and curl it too. Well while Quin was out golfing, I thought of blow drying and flattening my hair and cringed at the thought. It is down to my butt, thick, and out of control. I need it cut and thinned bad!!! So I thought... I'll curl it.
Here are the results... My hair is SO heavy that the top is sooo flat! I back combed the crap out of it and it still went totally flat. Also it didn't curl very much it just frizzed. I will try again with some other product. We'll see!

Saturday we had a bbq at our house. Just a few people came over. Our neighbors noticed how much we love bonfires and have given us so much wood! We love them! Sunday Quin's parents went out of town or they were doing someone for Art's work, I can't remember. But we stayed home and we watched Gran Torino and A Haunting in Conneticut. The last one freaked me out! It was based on a true story, even at the end there was an update of the situation. So scary but I love it! Gran Torino was not as good as everyone said, I thought, or maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. It really started to get on my nerves that he was so grumpy, and that he growled at everyone. Also when he said he regretted not having a relationship with his sons, but became a father to Toa really bugged me. Obviously you can be a good father, just not to your own sons? I don't know.

This week has been annoying. Our buick needs to be registered and the check engine light has been on, well we went and paid over $300 to maybe have the light off. So this weekend we are not going to go crazy spending money. We'll see how that goes.

Suprise!

Last wednesday when I got home as soon as I walked in the front room, Quin asked if I wanted to go somewhere and that we would be walking a little. But he wouldn't tell me where or anything. Well we went up in the mountains through Provo Canyon, went by Sundance ski resort and we got to a toll booth and he told the worker we were going on the Alpine Loop, she didn't make us pay and just told us to be safe. So we were weaving our way through the canyon looking at how beautiful everything was and the smells and just talking. So we ended up at Cascade Springs. Walked through one of the most amazing and beautiful places I've been to in Utah. I loved it so much. The whole time I kept telling him thank you for taking me and suprising me. I wish I was able to take pictures. It was such a hot day too that it was so nice to get away and being in the cool mountains. It was so awesome!

Friday we had a BBQ like we do every Friday. Saturday we went to Quin's friend Burnie's brother in law's house. There is a car show every year that is across the street so they sit out front and hang out. The American Fork carnival is a couple of blocks from his house too. Quin stayed at the house hanging out and I went with Melissa, Sara, and their kids to the carnival. Melissa's daughter some how got me to go on the freakiest ride with her. Although it was fun, it sounded like it was going to break. Also it was about 100 degrees that day. We drank more water there then anyone has ever! I love the carnival, I don't know why but I think it is so cute and such a fun place to watch people! After we left that house we went to Rob and Kelly's for Rob's birthday party. We had a pretty fun weekend!! Love the summertime!!!!!

Summertime!

I have been having the best summer a girl could ask for! We've been camping as much as we can, bbqing as much as we can, sitting out by a fire as much as we can, and enjoying everything summer has to offer!

Since I have grown up a little :) the 4th of July has become one of my favorite holidays. This year we went camping with Lapreal's family who are the greatest people! It didn't totally feel like the 4th, but that was just because I've never been camping on the 4th. We still had so much fun of course. It never fails with Lapreal and her family that we will have a blast!

My family (dad, mom, vauri, owen, and ava) came into town like they do every year. I had so much fun with them. I met them a few times for dinner and swimming after work. I am so lucky to have such a great family and the cutest neices and nephew in the entire world!

Thursday my dad wanted to go to the rodeo in Nephi, and Quin actually agreed to it! It really turned out to be kind of fun. Some things made me feel not so good, like the bull riding and bucking horse. I just don't like to think the animals are getting hurt. The only picture I have.
Me, Jenny, and Bay
Add ImageFriday Quin and I had my family and his family over for a bbq to get to know each other. And it was a success! We had a lot of fun just talking and enjoying each other. Saturday we went up to bountiful for a bbq at my grandmas. My mom is so cute and surprised me with towels and place mats and bowls for parties. I love the colors. They reminded her of Mexico and that is why she picked them. It all looks perfect in our house. And I swear I could do a whole post of funny things Owen said and did! He is so hilarious!!

I swear we are going to either going to get my camera replaced or buy a new one. I hate not having pictures :( I can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!!
