Dream a Little Dream of Me

I can't get this dream out of my head! I think it all started from the fact that I have changed my birth control due to my insurance changing and my reg stuff is $60 and I don't want to pay $60 for birth control. I've been talking to a friend at work about when I first was on it I had gone through like 3 different kinds until I found the one that is $60 because all the other ones made me crazy and I had broken up with my ex boyfriend Doug 4 times trying to get the dose right and I was afraid that changing my birth control this time will make that all happen again. My mom has always told me that dreams are usually from something you saw or thought of during the day. ( I think mostly she told me this when I had a bad dream because I always thought it was going to come true) ANYWAY that's why I think I had this dream...

I went back home to California and I realized that while I was in Utah it was just a "visit" and it was a lot shorter then 4 years... like a couple weeks! Well all the sudden I was hanging out with Doug and we were at a fast food restaurant waiting for our food with his parents. I looked at his parents and thought "oh no... they hate me! I have no relationship with these people." And thought about Quin and his parents and my relationship with Quin's parents and I was so sad. It turned out that I had cheated on Doug with Quin... but not for as long as I've been with Quin obviously. I drove in Doug's old '54 Ford and we talked about how much work he has done to it, how much better it sounded. I told Doug about a car across the street that drove me nuts while I was in Utah... I accidentally told him it was across the street from Quin's house and I was thinking to myself "Oh no he knows that I slept in Quin's bed, he's going to know that I cheated on him with Quin." And it's funny because there is a car across the street from mine and Quin's house that drive me nuts! And I just remember missing Quin so much but then why did I miss Quin so much Doug was my boyfriend. It was such a weird dream! I kept thinking about Quin's parents whenever I had to be around Doug's and feeling so bad I never thanked them for everything they had given me and Quin... but really they hadn't given me anything and I had never met them. And I wanted to be able to talk to Doug's family like I was able to talk to Quin's. The dream has totally freaked me out. I was telling my friend Jen about it and I'm like what if this is all a dream and I really do live in CA and I'm still dating Doug! And this is all the twilight zone! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Thankfully I woke up in my bed in UTAH! Still dating Quin :D Oh and I'm so glad I'm not dating Doug anymore... sounds mean but it's true. I LOVE QUIN :D :D :D :D

Sick of Being Sick

I woke up Thursday morning with Quin's cold... but I had no idea this was far from a little cold! We went from me taking care of Quin, to Quin taking care of me in a matter of seconds. I asked for the day off Friday because I knew it was getting bad. Quin was in the bedroom every 2 hours giving me some sort of medicine since he had the day off Friday too. I had sinus pressure, a stuffed and running nose, a sore throat, and an ear ache. We were so sad because Quin had worked so hard all week with his cold and we just wanted to have a fun weekend that was shot! I took so much nyquil Friday night I passed out and woke up feeling so much better. I said I didn't want to lay in bed all weekend that I wanted to go bowling like we had been planning all week. So again Quin was in the bedroom every two hours stuffing medicine down my throat until it was time to leave. I stuffed my purse full of toilet paper, throat spray, and more sinus medecine. I felt like I was so out of it all night and I'm sure everyone can agree with that. I could barely hear because my ear was plugged! I still had fun and we had a lot of people there. We went to hooters for dinner, and then bowled the night away. I am still sick, stayed home yesterday too. But Quin came home with a miracle drug and I can finally breathe out of me noise for the first time! My lips were cracking that's how bad it was. I hope no one else gets this horrible cold/death! I am so sick of being sick!

Yesterday

We had a very fun weekend! On my way home from our training on Friday and Quin text me that our friends Rob and Kelly wanted to meet up for dinner. We met at Applebee's and then went to my boss Kelly's house and played pool with her husband Zach all night. Saturday we laid around the house all day and then went to dinner. We wanted to go to Brick Oven which is yummy pizza but there was a huge wait so we went to this cute little Mexican place and then went and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button or whatever it is called. That is my very favorite movie right now. I can't even believe the story line. Nothing anyone has ever done or thought of. I loved it so much! We started our netflix and so after that movie we went home and watched The Pursuit of Happyness and I loved it so much. I hate depressing movies but the end made it worth it. I couldn't stop crying and I've been thinking about the movie ever since.

Sunday I had the privilege of watching my favorite little girl my Sugar Butt! Ashley was actually at Chris and Jenny's but she didn't want to stay alone and she had a project she was working on. I got there a little after 10 after stopping to get starbucks for me and Ash that took forever! Ashley stayed upstairs "working" on her project.

She was so obessed with Chris' drum chair... It was up on the fireplace so I'm guessing her parents don't let her sit or play on it... but what are Aunts for if not to break all the rules?

As you can tell I let her hang out in her PJ's all day. I fed her a cheeseburger for lunch and didn't clean her face up very much. It was meant to be just a day of no rules and laying around. I think I did a good job. HAHA I did actually think about changing her into a normal outfit but I honestly couldn't tell what was clean or dirty what would fit and what wouldn't.

She was so funny we were sitting at the dinning room table playing and Chris does this trick with a cork where he'll drop it and make it land on one side. Well I was doing that while she played and it landed on one side and she started clapping and saying "YEAH!!!!" and everytime I did she would clap and say "YEAH!" Chris must have shown her or something but it was so cute!! I love that little girl!

Christmas, New Year's Eve, and on

My camera didn't come with a memory card so I had to keep deleting pictures until I got a memory card. So Christmas, and New Years I don't have a lot of pictures.

We had a small party at our house the night of the UofU game. Me, Quin, Rob, Lapreal, Burney, and Shaun showed up after the game.

We played poker, and I've never really played except for with Mom and Dad beach camping and we played all different types. It was actually really fun, and I started catching on.

Saturday was my mom's 50th birthday but she had to work, so Sunday we went to Jenny's and had enchiladas, and tamales and celebrated her birthday!

Bailey got this 4 wheeler for Christmas and she was showing me her skills on it. She's so excited oh and so cute!

She loves to color so we went and found her crayons and coloring books on Mommy and Daddy's bed and colored away!

I was in charge of making the Mexican rice.

And Bailey was in charge of eating all the olives :D

Bailey left for a little bit and we found her in the tub coloring. The crayons are meant for coloring in the tub so it washing off thank God!

I love my camera so much I am so glad to have one again and be able to have tons of fun pictures. I got two picture albums from the exchange on Christmas eve, so I am going to start printing these off and keeping them. Thank you Susan, you are the best! Oh and Lapreal for giving me a memory card for free!
